About Us  Advisory Board William E. Barker Mr. Barker was a co-founder of Springwell Capital Partners and a Managing Director from April 2001 to December 2004. Prior to his experience at Springwell, Mr. Barker provided business development leadership to Callahan Associates International, LLC as a founding partner. At Callahan, he started the cable telephony & Internet business in partnership with several local investors in Spain, initiated a major cable telephony & Internet business with Canal Plus in France and launched Callahan Broadband Wireless, BBV. Before Callahan, Mr. Barker spent eleven years at GE Capital where, among other executive positions, he founded and led GE Com, a global communications business development company. Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Barker co-founded SBS RealCom, a nationwide telecommunications company backed by IBM and Ameritech. Mr. Barker is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and received his MBA at the Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.
