About Us  Advisory Board John R. Walter
Mr. Walter is the Retired President and Chief Operating Officer of AT&T, from November 1996 to July 1997, where he held responsibility for the day-to-day operations for the company’s core businesses in long-distance, local, wireless and on-line businesses; Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company, a print and digital information management, reproduction and distribution company, from 1989 through 1996. Mr. Walter, who holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Miami University of Ohio, began his career in 1969 at R.R. Donnelley & Sons. Mr. Walter is an active investor and builder of businesses. Mr. Walter is currently a director of InnerWorkings, Inc (also served as Non-Executive Chairman of InnerWorkings between May 2004 and June 2010), Manpower, Inc., Vasco Data Securities, Inc. and Echo Global Logistics. Previously Mr. Walter was a director of Abbott Laboratories between 1990 and 2007, Deere & Company between 1991 and 2007 and SNP Corporation of Singapore between 2002 and 2009. Over the years, Mr. Walter has also served on the boards of a multitude of public, private, educational, not-for-profit, and business boards. < Previous |
